How to Grill Peaches:
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Prepare the peaches. Cut each peach in half and remove the seed.
- Brush with olive oil. Brush the cut side of the peaches with olive oil. Optionally, brush the grill grates with olive oil as well.
- Grill the peaches. Place the peaches cut side down on the grill. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Make the butter mixture. While the peaches are cooking, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
- Finish the peaches. Remove the peaches from the grill and place them on a baking sheet with a rim. Spoon the butter mixture over each peach slowly, so it soaks in and coats them well.
Serve Them Hot
Grilled peaches are best served hot, topped with vanilla ice cream. The cold ice cream melts over the warm peaches, creating a wonderful combination.
For an extra touch, drizzle caramel sauce over the peaches and ice cream. You can also add chopped pecans or walnuts for added texture. Other ice cream flavors, like butter pecan or caramel swirl, would be great too.
Whipped cream is another great topping option. This easy homemade whipped cream recipe is a simple and delicious addition.
